ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA—Mindcubed today announced that its GRID analytics platform has been selected by Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) to develop a statewide crime analytical capability.
MSHP is the Missouri state agency responsible for collecting (from over 300+ police departments across the state) and submitting Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) and National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS) data to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
GRID platform will enable MSHP’s to analyze and publish historic Summary Reporting System (SRS) data and the deluge of incoming NIBRS data. The Missouri statewide UCR program (MoUCR), the Missouri Statistical Analysis Center (MoSAC), and partners such as St. Louis County Police Department (SLCPD) will benefit from interactive crime analytics. Users will be able to generate ad-hoc reports on any NIBRS variable, reporting jurisdiction, time frame, or other standard variables.
According to the company’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Habib Nasibdar, “Mindcubed continues to be a niche analytics player in public safety community. We look forward to creating meaningful outcomes and new insights for the State of Missouri and its public safety agencies.”
