Mindcubed certifies as a Maryland Department of Transportation Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)/Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)

Mindcubed a technology and management consulting company based in Arlington VA was today successfully certified as a Minority Business Enterprise(MBE)/Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the State of Maryland, Maryland Department of Transportation, Office of the Minority Business Enterprise (OMBE). Mindcubed is now eligible to participate in set aside programs for the State of Maryland to fulfill minority participation goals on contracts.

“We are excited to participate in the Maryland DBE program. Now Mindcubed is a certified DBE in the State of Maryland, State of Virginia, and the District of Columbia. We are strongly positioning ourselves to be competitive in the Washington Metro area for the set aside programs and procurement’s” said Habib Nasibdar, Founder and CEO of Mindcubed.

About DBE Program:
The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certification program is a Federal program. The purpose is to increase the participation of certified DBEs in projects funded by the US Department of Transportation and other federal sectors. Federal regulations 49 CFR Part 26 define a DBE as a for profit small business that is at least 51% owned by one or more individuals who are socially and economically disadvantaged and whose management and daily business operations are controlled by one or more of the socially and economically disadvantaged individuals who own it.
